2009 Western State Horse Expo- Thank You Volunteers!!!

 

I think everyone who was there would agree that the NCWHA TWH booth and breed demonstration at the 2009 Western States Horse Expo was a complete success.  There are many thank yous due. 

 

First of all, a huge thank you to those that rode in the demo: Lucinda Romero, Gail Seat, and Susan Cole.  You guys were awesome!  Your horses were great and really showed the versatility of the breed. 

 

A special thank you to Gail for filling in an open spot last minute.  Another big thank you to Pat Forsberg for her masterful announcing.  She was perfect!! 

A big thank you to Fran Cole for organizing everyone to work the booth.  This was a big load off of me, as I was busy enough organizing horses.  I will say, this was one of the first years were I didn't feel I had to be glued to the booth.  Might have been better for my checkbook if I had been, but it was sure nice knowing that I didn't have to worry about the booth being staffed. 

 

And speaking of the booth workers...  Everyone who helped with the booth was terrific!  We had over 20 different people help out and if I try to list names, I know I will forget someone.  But you all did a great job.  We had wonderful comments about those staffing the booth and how helpful everyone was to those looking for more information. 

 

And thank you to Tammy Chance for making hundreds of copies of the NCWHA information, helping with set up and clean up, video taping the last day, and taking photos.  The video will be posted soon and Tammy is going to put photos on the website.
